Exercise Motivation: 13 Reasons To Workout (And None Are Weight Loss!)


Everyone knows that exercise is healthy, right?

But what if you are new to working out, have been unable to exercise for a while due to illness or injury, or are bored with your normal routine?

You may need a little exercise motivation!

Just like anything else in life, there are times when exercising can seem challenging and we might find ourselves long on excuses and short on motivation.

But have no fear, I have 13 reasons to workout- and best of all, not one of them is weight loss!

What Is Exercise Motivation?

Simply put- motivation is the why behind what we do.

It drives us to do a good job at work, exercise (even when we don’t feel like it), or make healthy food choices.

No matter what fitness goals you have, it’s important to take a few minutes and think of what helps you feel motivated and then figure out why.

Maybe having a workout partner helps you to be accountable because you don’t want to let your partner down, or putting on good music helps you get started because it makes exercise seem more fun.

Or maybe you don’t feel like working out but you want to be able to bike ride with your kids, so that desire motivates you to exercise.

By taking the time to examine where you are in life right now, what your goals are, and what motivates you, your chances of success rise dramatically!
