The Best Healthy Hot Chocolate

When the weather gets colder we start to crave warmer drinks, and healthy hot chocolate is a family favorite around here!

Now, we don’t eat a lot of sweets in our home. In fact, our kids don’t really have a lot of sugar at all, but sometimes you just need a warm, delicious treat.

Our favorite time to make this recipe is on Christmas Eve.

We usually have dinner, go for a drive and look at Christmas lights or visit the local Christmas village, and then come home and have homemade hot chocolate and watch a Christmas movie.

It’s a wonderful night full of love, lights, and laughter!

And I have absolutely no objections giving my girls a sweet treat on this special occasion when it’s made with ingredients like cacao and raw honey that have a number of health benefits.
