Who doesn’t love cookie dough? I know I do!

It’s a sweet, gooey, delicious treat that, for me, brings back fond memories of sitting on my grandma’s counter, helping her make cookies, and licking the dough off the spoon when we were done.

But if you have food restrictions, allergies, intolerances, or have concerns about eating raw eggs typically found in cookie dough recipes, it may seem like eating cookie dough is a thing of the past.

Not to worry!

This edible (safe) cookie dough recipe can be modified for those that need gluten-free, dairy-free, and egg-free options.

And it is super quick and easy to make!

In just a few minutes you can be enjoying these little bite-size treats that will satisfy your sweet tooth and have you thinking back to the days of making cookies and licking the spoon at grandma’s house 🙂

Edible Cookie Dough Ingredients

You only need a few ingredients, and you probably have them in your pantry already.

Ready to do this?! Here is what you need:


Instructions

  1. Melt the butter (or substitute) and mix in the milk, vanilla and coconut sugar.
  2. Add the flour and mix well. Add a small amount of liquid if the dough seems too dry.
  3. Stir in the chocolate chips ( you may have to use your hands to get the dough and chocolate chips mixed really well)
  4. Roll into bite-sized balls if desired, or you can just eat it by the spoonful. The choice is yours 😉

This sweet, ooey, gooey, treat is quick and easy to make and is gluten, dairy, egg, and nut-free!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/3 cup allergy-friendly chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup gluten-free flour
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup butter (if dairy-free use coconut oil or other butter replacement)
  • 1 Tbsp. of milk (of your choice) or water
