Gelsemium people will present with slow pulse, fatigue and often feel uninterested. There may be muscle weakness, sleepiness, and even dizziness. These people are often sensitive to cold and damp weather. They may be slow, feel dull and detached or disinterested in their situation. They often want to be left alone because excitement (even the good kind of excitement) can take a toll and make them feel worse physically.
A woman that needs Sepia will feel totally burnt out. This is a great remedy to consider for women that feel overwhelmed and exhausted from motherhood and taking care of children. This person is always tired, has too much to do, and is physically and emotionally spent. Especially helpful after childbirth or when caring for small children or a sick loved one. This person often feels like they have no time for themselves (and they probably don’t!).
Sexual desire is often reduced or nonexistent and menstrual and hormonal issues such as backache, PMS, mood swings, cramps, and irritability are very common. If a woman seems to feel indifferent to loved ones, dreams of leaving her family and going away (even if she doesn’t actually follow through) consider this remedy.
Nux Vomica can be very helpful for people who start the day slow and sluggish with low cortisol levels in the morning but are wide awake at night. Having this sort of energy schedule makes it hard to go to bed early, which is recommended for treatment of adrenal fatigue. This remedy has been used to help bring down cortisol at night to allow the person fall asleep at an earlier hour.
Other signs a person may need this remedy are that they may feel overwhelmed, have an overactive mind, be quite irritable, angry, and impatient. This person often works hard and plays hard. There are often cravings for spicy and fatty foods. And they generally feel better from a nap but feel worse in the morning and in cold air.

Arsenicum Album is a good remedy to consider when a person is feeling exhausted but restless and anxious. This person may have a nervous constitution, have a fear of death and disease, and feel thirsty often. People who may need this remedy typically feel worse after midnight and from exertion but often feel better with heat, warm foods, and warm drinks.

- Coffea Cruda– great for nervous agitation, restlessness, intolerance of pain, often with despair. Often the mind races and there is great excitability. The person may be able to get to sleep but often wakes or feels that they haven’t really slept at all.
- Ignatia Amara– if excessive stress or adrenal fatigue was caused by grief, this would be a good remedy to consider. The person may feel stressed, anxious, or overwhelmed. Changeable mood is often seen but they may also be introspective or seem like they are melancholic, sad, or tearful.
