Ingredients For Healthy Banana Yogurt Popsicles
Ready to get started on this fun home or school treat? It’s so simple, there is no food processor, blender, or popsicle molds necessary. Just a few simple tools and you are ready to get started!
Necessary Tools
- a bowl
- a spoon
- popsicle sticks
- parchment paper (wax paper works too)
- baking sheet
Basic Ingredients
- Bananas
Look for bananas that are firm, but ripe. Mushy bananas will not work well for this because the stick won’t stay or the whole thing will fall apart. - Yogurt
Choose whatever yogurt you prefer. Greek yogurt is a popular choice because it is thick and has a good amount of protein. You can also choose flavored yogurt, plain yogurt, or even homemade!
*Be aware though, while homemade yogurt is the healthiest, it can also be the thinnest and may not be as easy to spoon onto the banana making the process a little more difficult (but still tasty!). - Granola
Granola adds a deliciously crunchy taste and texture to a popsicle but is totally optional if you would rather not include it. - Additional Optional Toppings
Feel free to add any toppings that you’d like: berries, chocolate chips, coconut, nuts, cinnamon, a drizzle of honey, or peanut butter … the possibilities are endless!

To make sure that the popsicles are frozen and ready to eat it will take about 3 hours for them to freeze and be properly set.
2. How long are yogurt popsicles good for?
Because these healthy popsicles are different than what you typically buy at the store, we have found that the pops are best if eaten within 2 weeks. For best freshness and storage, after they are frozen, you can remove them from the baking sheet, and store them in a freezer bag or other sealed container.
3. What size popsicle stick is best?
If you are shopping for supplies you may have noticed that there are different-sized sticks. We have used a few different sizes but the one we found worked the best for this recipe was the 6 in. size.
